Bakuchiol description

Bakuchiol is a natural extract derived from the seeds and leaves of the plant Psoralea corylifolia (also known as Babchi), a plant with deep roots in traditional Ayurvedic medicine. The ingredient has become a success in modern skincare as the ultimate gentle alternative to retinol. Although Bakuchiol has no chemical similarity to vitamin A, clinical studies have shown that it triggers the exact same cellular processes in the skin. It stimulates collagen production, accelerates cell renewal, and reduces the visibility of fine lines and wrinkles.
The major advantage of Bakuchiol is its mildness. Traditional retinol often causes side effects such as redness, dryness, and peeling skin, and makes the skin extra sensitive to the sun. Bakuchiol does not cause these side effects, making it perfect for people with sensitive skin or rosacea. Additionally, it is not broken down by sunlight, which means you can apply it in your morning routine without any issues. Thanks to its antibacterial properties, it also works excellently to reduce acne and fade pigmentation spots.
